Arrival in Lima
A warm welcome to the capital, and time to settle before the days ahead.
- Day 2
Lima, colonial & modern
A city tour through the historic centre and the elegant coastal districts — the old and the new Lima, side by side.
- Day 3
Lima · Arequipa
A city tour and the Santa Catalina Monastery in the white city, beneath its ring of volcanoes.
- Day 4
Arequipa · Chivay · Colca Canyon
Up onto the high plateau and down towards the canyon, with thermal springs at the day's end.
- Day 5
Cruz del Cóndor · Arequipa
Condors on the morning air at the Cruz del Cóndor, then the return to Arequipa.
- Day 6
Arequipa · Cusco
On to Cusco, the old Inca capital, and its thin, luminous mountain air.
- Day 7
Cusco & the archaeological park
A city tour and the ruins above it — Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
- Day 8
Machu Picchu
A full day at the citadel, by scenic train, with a guided visit.
- Day 9
A mountain of your choosing
Rainbow Mountain — Vinicunca, the slopes of Ausangate and the village of Cusipata — or Humantay Lake, by way of Mollepata and Soraypampa, with an offering to the earth.

Departure from Cusco
A last morning in the Andes before your onward journey.
